Audience: It is written for undergraduate dietetic students, dietetic interns, and newly registered dietitians, as well as anyone interested in becoming one.
Features: The book starts by detailing exactly what a dietitian is and the many jobs a registered dietitian (RD) can hold, what undergraduate classes are needed, how to find the right internship program and what to expect during the program, facts about the RD exam, and tips on finding a job. This informative book tells you just what you need to know. I appreciated the career reflections and interviews.
Assessment: As a dietetic intern, I absolutely loved this book. It made me feel good about how far I have come in my education and made me look forward to my future as a registered dietitian. I would recommend this book to any student interested in dietetics or already in a dietetics program.
