Overview

Napoleon Hill's The Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons includes the True Philosophy upon which all Personal Success is Built. From Self Confidence to Imagination and all aspects of personality and habits, Hill spells out the steps to success.

The Law of Success examines the power of personal beliefs and the role they play in personal success. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." is one of Hill's hallmark expressions. How achievement occurs and the formula for achieving it are the focal points of Hill's The Law of Success and his later book Think and Grow Rich.

Through the encouragement and support of Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill studied the most successful men of industry in order to ascertain what traits each possessed.

As part of his research, he interviewed Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, George Eastman, Henry Ford, Elmer Gates, John D. Rockefeller, Sr., Charles M. Schwab, F.W. Woolworth, William Wrigley, Jr., John Wanamaker, William Jennings Bryan, Joseph Stalin, Theodore Roosevelt, William H. Taft, Woodrow Wilson and Jennings Randolph.

As a result of his research, the Philosophy of Achievement was offered as a formula for rags-to-riches success by Hill as a study course called The Law of Success.

Meet the Author

Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 – November 8, 1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. He is widely considered to be one of the great writers on success. His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich, is one of the best-selling books of all time. Hill's works examined the power of personal beliefs, and the role they play in personal success. He became the advisor to President Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933-36. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve" is one of Hill's hallmark expressions. How achievement actually occurs, and a formula for it that puts success in reach for the average person, were the focal points of Hill's books.

Excellent book highly recommend it !! a Must READ

I love this book it's very informative as well as an eye opening experience that you have to read in order to understand. He explains why Fear is such a big motivator for all people and how industries are created by FEAR. The fear of loss is a Bigger motivator than the possibility of gain....... sad but very true

    Horrible.

Type so small it is not readable without magnification. Does anybody monitor for issues like this? Format is also an issue. Does anybody care? This is a great book and should not be treated in this manner. I feel I wasted my time and my money.

    Useless as an EBook

The type was set on the largest on my Nook Touch and the type was ridiculously small-way smaller than 6 pt type. S e heading
S or sentences were much. Iget so kow it's not my Nook. Before selling it/wasting our money they should ensure the book is formatted correctly-this is not the first book I have bought like this-think and grow rich had paragraphs that ran off the page. Disappointing.

    Difficult to read

The print is so tiny that I have to use a magnifier to read it. If someone can help me in this matter I would appreciate it. I really want to read this book.

    Display Problems

This seems like such an interesting (though dated) work. Sadly, the formatting of the epub file does not display properly on the Nook screen.
