What People Are Saying

William H. Taft
My Dear Mr. Hill: I have now had an opportunity to finish reading your Law of Success textbooks, and I wish to express my appreciation of the splendid work you have done in this philosophy. It would be helpful if every politician in the country would assimilate and apply the 16 principles upon which the Law of Success is based. It contains some very fine material which every leader in every walk of life should understand. William H. Taft Former President of the United States and Chief Justice
Thomas A. Edison
Allow me to express my appreciation of the compliment you have paid me in sending me the original manuscript of Law of Success. I can see you have spent a great deal of time and thought in its preparation. Your philosophy is sound and you are to be congratulated for sticking to your work over so long a period of years. Your students...will be amply rewarded for their labor.
F. W. Woolworth
By applying many of the 16 fundamentals of the Law of Success philosophy we have built a great chain of successful stores. I presume it would be no exaggeration of fact if I said that the Woolworth Building might properly be called a monument to the soundness of these principles.
Samuel Gompers
Mastery of the Law of Success philosophy is the equivalent of an insurance policy against failure.
Woodrow Wilson
May I congratulate you on your persistence. Any man who devotes that much time...must of necessity make discoveries of great value to others. I am deeply impressed by your interpretation of the "Master Mind" principles which you have so clearly described.
George Eastman
I know that you are doing a world of good with your Law of Success. I would not care to set a monetary value on this training because it brings to the student qualities which cannot be measured by money alone.
William Wrigley, Jr.
Whatever success I may have attained I owe, entirely, to the application of your 16 fundamental principles of the Law of Success. I believe I have the honor of being your first student

    Life changing

I learned about this book through a friend. I started reading this book when I was 21. All the schooling that I took did not amount to what I learned in the sixteen lessons from the author. Every page that I read was like a life changing experience. If I can give more than 5 stars I would give it a 10. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking to change their life. This was the best couple of bucks I have ever spent because I did not buy a book I got someone's life experience for 25 years in one brown book. I was very fortunate to have been able to find out about this book.

    Long Term Advice

Although written in 1928, this is a tome of life bulletpoints that still resonates in 2012, perhaps more so in the current millenial malaise we are in. The writing style is a bit affected to the era and it is funny to read what the dollar was worth then. The advice can be seen today through many views, Dave Ramsey the forefront. It stands up in time.

If you want to be successful anything from Napoleon Hill is a must read/listen.

Napoleon Hill penned ideas almost a century ago that I believe are the most useful tool for being successful in any endeavor that one chooses.

Napoleon Hill's Major First Work of 15 Essential Qualities for Success

This is a 5 CD-set abridged yet thorough version of Napoleon Hill's momumental first work, "The Law of Success". The "Law of Success" was written following a research period of 20 years interviewing 500 ultra-successful men of his day, including leading industrialists such as Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, and Henry Ford; U.S. Presidents, including Theordore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Woodrow Wilson; and myriad other high achievers and innovators in business, commerce, and other fields. The compendium consists of 15 essential success principles, which showed up repeatedly in the lives of the 500 super-successful men. Each success principle is covered at length, with real-life examples and in an always-inspiring spoken format. The owner of this CD set will want to listen to it again and again for inspiration and for ideas on his personal road to success. Practical, easy to understand. The section on allocating financial resources and saving is superb.

    Greatest Business Book of All-Time

This is - hands-down - the greatest business book of all-time (especially this edition). The first chapter (establishing the Master Mind) is a bit clunky to get through, but once you make it through that you will sail through the book as if the pages turned themselves. You will encounter so many quips that bring to mind things you desperately need to improve on, reaffirm other things you all ready do well and other ideas that pop in your head that you should read it along with a notebook or at least with a pen to underline passages. I have read this book in its entirety and refer back to it often. Although it was written over 80 years ago, the concepts are timeless (especially in our current economic condition). I highly recommend this book to any and everyone. It is a must-have in anyone's collection.

    The original source.

This book is a pleasure to read because Napoleon Hill is so full of enthusiasm for his message. And why wouldn't he be? He had just learned the secrets of accomplishment firsthand from Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, J.C. Penny, Andrew Carnegie, and 494 of the most successful people in the country! The motivational speakers of our day communicate the same basic principles: Set goals, keep yourself motivated, don't give up when you hit a setback -- not because these motivational speakers lack ingenuity, but because there are only a few things that really work. They worked 60 years ago, and they'll work 60 years from now because people are people. I'm the author of the book, Self-Help Stuff That Works, and I'm an expert on self-help. The Law of Success is a classic in its field because the principles work. It's a nice bonus that it's fun to read!
