    Great Book!

Being a first time homeowner, thus first time lawn owner, after one season and a 'how hard could it be?' approach, my lawn was horrible. Weeds, dead patches, soil compaction. Even my self engaged attempts to resead some areas failed due to inexperience. I bought several books (include one of those lawn bible books - save your money) to try and learn about how to care for a lawn, what I did wrong, and what I need to do from now on. This book by far did the best job of educating, instructing, and helping me learn what a lawn needs. It goes into each area into great detail, and has many explanations to compliment. I wish I would have bought this book first, and saved myself some time and money and frustration.
