I do believe this book is a tribute to Lea Stein the artist and designer of the most unique jewelry of the 20th century and currently the 21st. I have enjoyed purchasing her designs for many years, in Paris, Italy and England and on my many trips to other parts of the world. I think this book is most remarkable. Lea Stein designed so many pieces of jewelry, it would be virtually impossible to compile a book to include all of her work. The author obviously judged very carefully and displayed a vast amount of her work which she obviously found most appealing. It would be difficult for most to do since almost all of her work is so creative and unique. I thank the author so much for allowing us to glimpse Lea Stein's beautiful work that is photographed so nicely, and I do recommend this book not only to collectors but to anyone who appreciates beauty.

This book is a super documentary about the designs of Lea Stein, who is truly an artist. I found it extremely informative and the photography was terrific. I suggest that this book be placed in the library of anyone who has an interest in 20th century costume jewelry.

I discovered this book browsing on the internet. I ordered it immediately and upon receipt of this marvelous find, I almost ate the pages. This is a superb book. The photographs are gorgeous and the information contained within the pages, though brief, give a capsule view of the remarkable designs of Lea Stein the Parisian artist. As collectors we are truly indebted to Judith Just for having the foresight to write and photograph this fantastic book.
