    Highly Recommended Resource

I had the joy of reading through Gregory E. Lang's pint-sized book Lead Serve Love. Sometimes it is nice to have marching orders of sorts condensed to a short sentence or even a single word. When the word or words are uttered, focus is engaged. Lang has compiled a book of 100 3-word ways to be like Jesus. A friend of his calls it the "three-ology" theology. For quite awhile over cyberspace many people were writing 6 word memoirs. Lang has cut that in half and made 3 little words powerful to the hearer. Each three-ology is followed by a brief commentary and scriptures. How simple is that? I wish that I had the idea first. I was pleased to receive a complimentary copy of Lead Serve Love and wrote an honest review in exchange. Thank you Thomas Nelson.

Excellent for a Gift or Bible Study

This book would make an excellent gift for a Christian in any stage of the journey. It would also make a wonderful Bible study for teens and adults alike. The book is a compilation of three-word phrases designed to help the Christian lead a more Christ-like life. Relevant Bible verses accompany each phrase.

How exactly does a person lead a life that is more Christ-like? I have always struggled with this, since Christ was, well, Christ. How can an ordinary human live up to his standard? This book helps with this, taking key passages from the Bible and summing each up with a quick, three-word sound byte that makes it easy to understand how we can walk as Christ did.

This is definitely a book that was meant to be savored slowly. Sure, you could quickly read through the three-word phrases, and you'd get something out of it from page one. But it would be so valuable to take each phrase one at a time, studying the Bible verses with each phrase, and reading further into the relevant Bible passages. This book would make an excellent Bible study, and I plan to spend more time with it over the next few months.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is confused about how to lead a Christ-like life.

    Lead, Serve, Love--A MUST Read!

This is a fantastic gift book for a confirmation gift, graduation, or a book you might just want to keep for yourself! Each page in this book has a short three-word ways to help you connect to others and share the word of God. This book is great for anyone who wants to serve the Lord in simple ways. One example of a three-word way to serve is "Say Thank You". The book then explains how this is important, how to do it, and has bible verses that connect to this simple phrase. This book gives you the "pick-up" you need and inspiration to do something to help those around you. This is a book you could pick up every day and do one of the phrases to help you and others connect more to God. I love how simple the author has put this book together and is very clear. It is a very easy read and anyone could do something from this book, young and old. I would highly recommend this book to everyone, especially if you have wanted to serve our Lord but just don't know how to get started.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Simply Wonderful

I love simple ideas that get to the point and retain the wisdom of the message. Over and over in the Bible we are told to "think on these things" and this consise little book helps you to do that. I enjoyed the idea of focusing on just three words and meditating on the scriptures that are included for which those three words have there foundation in. Lead Serve Love would also make a beautiful gift book to share with others. The simple color's and fonts that were used through out the text of Lead Serve Love, hearken back to another time and they were fun for me to read. This is a simple book with a powerful message that is based on the solid foundation of the Bible. And it encourages the reader to focus on three little words that prompts the reader to a single daily action that Jesus himself taught daily through his own words and actions.

    Buy It!

This is one of those books I requested to review in ebook form and now I wish I had a hardcopy! I absolutely LOVED this book. If you're following Jesus, this books shows you that it's one area of you're life that you should be "majoring in the minors." Even the smallest things in life matter in the kingdom of God.

I loved this book because it was incredibly unique! I was amazed that the author came up with 100 three-word sentences, his friend calls "three-ology," to capture what it means to live your life for Christ. The author's choice of three-word sentences and Scriptures that follow his brief but powerful commentary were enjoyable, convicting, and enriching to read. Some of my favorite three word sentences were:

    Smile at Everyone

    Listen with Understanding

    Act With Mercy

    Count to Three

    Overcome Your Doubt

    Answer When Asked

    Love Without Hesitation

This is a perfect book for yourself, those you love, a gift for that Sunday school teacher that teaches your child each week, and just about anyone who has a desire to live a life that is worthy of Christ.
