More About This Book

Overview

In Lead the Dance, A Response of Worship, author Dr. Ella Thompson reveals this simple fact: there must be a response of worship to the goodness of God…regardless of the form it takes. Just as the infant kicks his legs and coos in response to his parents, so should the believer respond with energetic laudation to the Heavenly Father. The response of worship can take various forms that are acceptable to God. Dance, mime, song, and dramatization are all vehicles of worship and throughout the Bible the movements of the body, hands and feet have been used to offer worship unto God Almighty. Dance has been used to celebrate and praise God for His mighty acts since creation.

This book validates, through scripture, the use of dance in the House of God and it goes much further…into the heart of the matter of worship. Come to the pages of Lead the Dance and discover together with Dr. Thompson the requirement of the response of worship from the heart of every believer.

If you are a worship leader, you not only lead your dance but you lead the dance (the physical response of worship from the believer to God) of others. When chosen to be a worship leader you are highly favored and accountable. When you respond to God in worship, God looks directly into your heart to see your intentions and the motivation for your worship.

Release the response of worship that is within you and please the heart of God as you were created to worship Him…lead the dance! Reap the benefits and rewards of worship.
