Meet the Author

Robert Follett has been a leader over a long career. He headed a small book publishing company that grew large. He was chairman of a large multi-divisional corporation. he has led start-ups as well. Follett has been leader of a number of smaller not-for-profit organizations, including a local civic action group, a land conservancy, and an arts-focused organization. He has also served on the boards of many not-for-profits. From his own experiences as a leader and from what he has observed with many other leaders have come the practical advice, ideas, tools, and helps that form the basis for this book. This is his ninth published book. He also teaches about business at a nearby university and has often led seminars and workshops.
