A New Recording of the Bestselling Guide to Getting Out of the Box!
Most personal and organizational problems are the result of a little–known phenomenon called "self–deception." We deceive ourselves into thinking we're doing the right thing for the right reason, but people won't follow a leader whose motives are selfish. The tricky thing is, we don't know that our motivation is flawed. Through an entertaining and highly instructive story, this audiobook explains what self–deception is, how people get trapped in it, how it undermines relationships and organizational achievement, and—most importantly—the surprising way to solve it.

This book/concept is foundational to all interpersonal relationships. No matter the setting home/family, work, church or any affiliations these concept will have real tangible effects. As always seemingly simple concepts take a great deal of work sometimes to implement. This is why I have bought 4-5 copies of this book and given them either to friends or to people of influence in hope they may spread the concepts and at the same time help me practice. This book is for everyone, not just the professional or those dealing with the public. This will affect your relationship with your spouse, children, friends literally every person you come in contact. It is told in a simple hypothetical scenario, practical on many levels. The follow-up book "The Anatomy of Peace" is excellent as well in applying these principles in understanding conflict resolution. I highly recommend this book too all. At the risk of losing some, when God says "Love your neighbor as yourself" here are practical tools on how to do that, enjoy!

This book (program) was introduced to me at work but works if practiced with everyone from the difficult salesperson in a retail store to your boss/co workers to your family members. Fantastic, yet basic concept. Everybody should read it as well as the sequel to this book.
