This book(?) is incredibly confusing, and short. It starts in the middle of something and assumes that you already know the characters. I have only seen the movie and the book is not that good. The art is all hard edges and grotesque images fitting of Victorian England.
The plot is very hard to follow. There are apparently three parts, but only two are available for the Nook. And, the story just ends suddenly, after introducing all of the characters. Nothing is resolved, no conclusions. Just as I am starting to get into the story. It ends. Then, there is a five page newspaper blurb/articles after the comics end. These pages have nothing to do the previous pages or anything at all, as far as I can tell.
I gave it three stars because all of the comics are done in full color. It is hard to find comics/graphics novels in color all the way through.
I would not recommend this graphic novel to a casual reader. However, if you are into everything League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, you will probably enjoy it more than I did.

Chapter one is set against the backdrop of London, 1910, twelve years after the failed Martian invasion and nine years since England put a man upon the moon. In the bowels of the British Museum, Carnacki the ghost-finder is plagued by visions of a shadowy occult order who are attempting to
