Leaning Weightless On The Breezeby R. Keith Smith
At times thoughtful and introspective while at others boldly erotic, Leaning Weightless on the Breeze is an exploration through the stages of forbidden romance from youthful infatuation to bitter separation. Here we are presented with a collection of verse deeply personal and at the same time immediately accessible.

This author has a firm grasp on his pen and subject. Clearly the author was struck with wonder and muse in these compositions and it brims with confidence in love found and love lost. His sentences are crisp, tight, and at times, explosive. There's plenty of yearning, enough exploration into the taboo and forbidden. He's seeking what we all seek: seduction. As the book continues one begins to realize the subject, and it's allure, is slipping away. The author is left with himself, contemplative, hurt, but star struck in the possibilities of expression, desire, and desolation. This is poetry as it's meant to be.
