Overview

Everyone thinks A. J. Sutherland is crazy to buy a rogue stallion that no rider or trainer has been able to tame. But if anybody has the hustle to make something out of that hell-raiser, it’s A. J. She can’t do it alone, however, so she goes after the great Devlin McCloud, an equestrian legend with a bad leg — and a worse attitude.

Devlin recognizes a fighter when he sees one — and that horse isn’t a wallflower, either. Before he knows it, he’s got a wild stallion in his empty stable and a hotheaded, heavenly-bodied rider sleeping on his couch. But can he get all three of them through the championship in one piece? This passion he’s found with his rider is compromising training — and at this level of competition, any distraction is not just unprofessional but downright deadly....

What can I say? Another great read from JR. Loved the plot, the romance and the characters. Having read the preface, this book is special to JR as it was one of her first novels that she wrote as a budding writer. Great read.

“This heat between us… I can’t be rational when I want you so much” He scorchingly wants her, she desperately wants him naked and all that… But wait there is a big competition and they have to think about it. Like massive amounts of sexual tension is a good idea around a 1000 lb. animal with impulse control issues. All I am saying is.. Tease Tease Tease !

So many spots where the story could get deeper, and didnt. Good, fun, hot. Would enjoy having JR write another draft now to see where the characters would be enhanced.

Here is where the warriors in training sleep. There is space for several apprentices & lots of soft moss.
