I thought this app was like a work book for little kids but it reads them the answer so if you use it,turn the volume off if you want your kids to actually learn something.

The volume is uneven as the flash cards are read. Some application for 2nd langauage learners. No pictures with the words, so not good for pre-schoolers.

The combination of visual and audio was well received! The app also opened discussion on the meaning and everyday usage of the words shown/ spoken, which enhanced the whole learning experience.

My grandaughter was more receptive of the Sight words on the Nook then using the Flash Cards and she could sit and say them as I did other things. Great idea.
