I’m part of the Nature Explore community and can tell you first-hand this book is an amazing tool to have on hand to help you learn more and plan out how to create spaces that offer countless open-ended opportunities for children to experience and learn in nature on a daily basis. It is a great resource to help get others in your community or organization (such as admin staff) understand where you’re coming from and offers research-based reasons why it works. After my initial read I can honestly say this book sits on my desk (or nearby) and I reference it regularly. Other great books on nature-based learning/education/teaching: Growing With Nature: Supporting Whole-Child Learning in Outdoor Classrooms and Heart-Centered Teaching Inspired By Nature: Using Nature's Wisdom to Bring More Joy and Effectiveness to Our Work with Children
