Meet the Author
Barry Rubin is director of the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center and editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal and of Turkish Studies. He has authored 22 and edited 34 books, mostly on the Middle East. His latest books include The Israel-Arab Reader (seventh edition), with Walter Laqueur; The Truth About Syria; and The Long War for Freedom: The Arab Struggle for Democracy in the Middle East.
