Jenny Fletcher had selflessly put her needs and dreams behind those of her fiancé, Hal, a man more committed to a cause than to her. On the eve of his departure for Central America, he gave Jenny what she wanted more than anything...one passionate night. It was his final gift. Cage Hendren was the opposite of his brother, Hal, in every way. The black sheep of the family, he was all rough edges, with a soft spot for just one thing: Jenny. But she'd always thought Cage was too wild and reckless...until he showed her a wildness in herself she hadn't known was there. And now that she's been led astray...she couldn't possibly turn back...

This is the man for you...a strong forceful man who loves without compromise and won't take no for an answer. The woman in the story loves her husband but his brother is the man who satisfies her. When her husband goes off to war and gets killed, it's the brother who fulfills her every need and cares for her in the way she deserves. Read this book and you will fall in love with him too. He is a man of his word and he will make you wish he was yours.

I loved this book so much. I thought it was brilliant. Cage is a great character, he's not perfect by any means and his flaws are visible for the readers. But his pursue of Jenny is funny, warm, romantic and great, specially after a main incident that changes both their lives, and i'm not talking about the death of Cage's brother and Jenny's fiancee. enough said, i think this information is in the back cover so it will not ruin the book for anyone. but i do highly reccomend it!

I read this book in its original several years after it was published and loved it! This story is as great now as it was then. If you haven't read it yet or are new to Sandra Brown, I highly recommend reading this and any other Sandra Brown books.

The word 'versatility' is given new meaning in the person of actress Karen Ziemba. Winner of the 2000 Tony Award for her performance in the musical 'Contact,' she has also captured the Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Awards. Beginning with the now legendary 'A Chorus Line,' Broadway was introduced to Ms. Zeimba, and she hasn't slowed down since. In addition to numerous musicals she has been featured in TV programs and films. Fortunately, she also finds time to read audio books, and 'Led Astray' is one of her best. She adroitly plumbs the depths of a young woman's emotions as Jenny Fletcher finds herself torn between her feelings for two men. Jenny has given the ultimate support to her fiance's cause. On the night before he is to leave for Central America they couple as she has always believed they would. And then there is his brother who awakens desires in Jenny that she did not know she possessed. With whom does her future lie? Another sigh producing love story from Sandra Brown, and first rate voice performance by Karen Ziemba. - Gail Cooke

Anyone who buys this hardcover book thinking they are getting a 'new' story will certainly be LED ASTRAY. This is a great book but only if you are reading it for the first time. I still have the original paperback book published in 1985.

Before I ordered the 'new' Sandra Brown book, I checked our library's online catalog and found they had several copies of this book - from 1985! Glad I saved my money for a truly new book.

This is the first book that I have read by Sandra Brown and I really enjoyed it. The romance was great and appealing and characters well defined. I am looking for other Sandra Brown books to read.

I am getting tired of needing to check a book over to make sure it is not a hardback version of some old book! There are certain authors I hesitate to order via the internet just for this reason. For those of us who read a lot this can be very frustrating and is happening a lot with Sandra Brown as well as others. Haven't seen a new book from her in ages.

YOU NEVER GO WRONG WITH A SANDRA BROWN!!! THIS BOOK IMPALES ALL SENSES OF THE MIND AND BODY AND MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THE GOOD THERE IS. WHAT A WONDERFUL WOMAN THIS AUTHOR IS AND I ONLY HOPE SHE WILL CONTINUE TO FUEL MY LOVE OF HER WORK.

After 'Fanta C' I started reading more Sandra Brown because that was such a great romance novel. I have enjoyed her books ever since, but the books never quite lived up that first one I read - until now. Brown has a way of writing romance realisticly, as it really would happen. The characters are funny and real, while the romance is right on target. Her books are a little more tame that I prefer, but they definitely get the imagination started.

I got this promising email, indicating a new Sandra Brown book is coming out. Lo and behold, it is a book I have had on my shelf since 1985! We're talking 20 years old, people! Plot is formulaic; if you like her stuff, you'll like this. If you're looking for something 'new,' wait until something that actually IS new comes along.

If you have trouble remembering what you read, you can get caught in the reprint trick. This Hardback is a reprint and you would be better off saving money and buying a used or new copy of the original paperback. Unless you are collecting hardbacks, then this is a waste of money. However, the story was a great one, but not worth the hardback price.

This story was so touching. I wish i could trade places with Jenny. Cage, is such a sensual and loving man. This one i took to heart. I read it once and a while when i want a romantic quick-fix. I'm addicted to these novels and i can't imagine any better punishment.
