Overview

Legacy - book six of Royal Blood Chronicles continues the story of Katrina and the Five. The Royal, ruling class of vampires is being challenged and the Five find themselves at the center of the turmoil.
The rivalry between Quinn and Damien comes to a head and relationships are shattered as deceptions are revealed and a shocking revalation changes everything.
When death surrounds the Five, not even Katrina is sure she has the strength to do what she knows she needs to do.
Elizabeth Loraine’s series Royal Blood Chronicles is told to us by Katrina, a young, royal blooded vampire. She looks back one hundred and thirty years to the time that she first became the leader of the Five and the Protectors. They were chosen at a time of great peril to protect all the peaceful races of the world, including those that often hunted their race; humans.

In the Chronicles you see how five, young beautiful royal vampires mature from spoiled girls, who’s days were once filled with thoughts of boys, new dresses and matching jewelry who became strong, women warriors with fantastic, newly developed vampire gifts.
They are joined by others; The Protectors: Elves, Wizards, Witches, Warlocks, Dwarves, Demon Kings of the underworld and many more. Those who join them of their own free will in order to aid them in their quest to not only protect the peaceful races, but the sanctuaries which hold many of them who must hide from those that fear them and would do them harm along with the treasures of the ages that are held in these sanctuaries.

Meet the Author

Elizabeth Loraine grew up in a small Northern Minnesota town, married her high school sweetheart and raised two children. In 1984 they moved their family to Florida where they still live today. She was a secretary and later a decorative painter.
Two years ago at the age of 52, with children settled she embarked on a new career, with a simple idea and a quest to write books where strong female characters were not waiting to be saved, but the ones doing the saving. With that simple idea Royal Blood Chronicles was born. Now with five books in the series and a new series launched – Phantom Lives - she is having the kind of career in writing she always wished for.
When not writing she loves to spend time with her family, traveling, cooking and gardening.
“My parents instilled in me the idea that I could do anything that I set my mind to with hard word and perseverance. Not to be afraid to fail, it’s how we learn.”

Great new twist to a gret series of books!

I don't know what "Negative Anonymous" is moaning about, other than the fact that a favorite character has taken a fall from grace. This only means that his story will become more in depth in the future and hopefully he will see redemption and a new, more mature, future. I loved every part of this tale as a new chapter in the Royal Blood Chronicles series, although it did break my heart for Quinn to make such a bad decision. I can only trust that it was for the greater good of the overall series and that all will be revealed in good time. So, goodbye "Negative Anonymous". I, for one, will not miss your hate spewing but I WILL continue reading Elizabeth Loraine's exceptional storytelling! I'm not afraid to show my pen name like other cowards.

    Don't Waste Your Money!!!!

Elizabeth Loraine has taken an excellent series and destroyed it in a rushed, lazily and thoughtless book. You destroyed one of the main characters, Quinn, in just a few words and that was that! How could you? I expected more from the Quinn - Katrina romance than that. You need to place yourself in your reader's mindset and look at what a change like that would do to their willingness to continue to read the series! Right now, I doubt I will spend another dime on your novels because of the choppy, lazilly written way you handled this book. It was all over the place and most of what happened (like Cain being rescued) was never addressed as to how, it just happened. What a dissapointment this book was!!

    Fantastic.

I have read all of Elizabeth Loraine's book and I have loved them all, but this one was amazing. It made me angry, sad and once again get to travel through the magical world she draws me into from the first paragraph. Can't wait for more.
