Overview

My life is in a tail-spin and I’m about ready to crash.

I’ve cut Matt Connover out of my life… well, at least out of my bedroom… but I still have to deal with him at work. I have Lorraine intent on raining hell and destruction down upon me, which at least provides a nice diversion from my miserable feelings over Matt.

About the only good thing that has happened to me lately?
Cal Carson asked me out… and I accepted.

Matt’s not going to like that. Not one little bit.
But that’s not my problem now, is it?

Meet the Author

USA Today Best-Selling Author, Sawyer Bennett is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have three big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn't have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.

Well the whole 6 books  was only 190 pages and you $2.99 for only about 30 pages each time, that is a bit  much. If I  hadn't got hooked
on the first 30 page of the series I would't have been stupid enough to keep buying the rest . It was a good read just to expensive for
    what you get.

So how can I put into words what what Ms. Sawyer’s writing does to me. Even tho I despise, loathe, I may even go out on a limb and say I may be allergic to mini series. There is something about MattCnover and MconKayla that has me in a…….**squeeee, fangirling**

Yeah, that’s part of it. Let’s not forget that fate of McKayla’s boss Lorraine. I could not stand this lady. I feel about her the same way I feel about mini series. I was less than speechless to learn how her dinner date with Matt went. **jumping around doing happy dance**

I think that takes cares of some of my emotions.

Violation is the third installment in the Legal Affairs series and things are really heating up, but on some level I think McKayla could possibly be cooling off on Matt. I’m sure his bipolar swings towards whatever he and McKayla share is a bit much for anyone to handle.

If Matt is not careful I’m a true believer that he could possibly lose a good thing to his old friend Cal. I’m hoping that’s not the case, but time will only tell.

I am enjoying Mac playing Cal off as more than a friend to Matt.

I am enjoying Mac playing Cal off as more than a friend to Matt. Good for her! I also want to just punch Lorraine in the face! Such an annoying person. Loved the confrontation with her. I enjoyed the moments at the Gala. I liked how vulnerable Matt was with Mac. And the sex is just as hot as ever! The background story between Cal and Matt was interesting. Almost feel bad for Cal. I cannot believe the ending with Mac's mom but loved what Matt did. Another great book and I hate having to wait for the next one!

    Suspense filled.

I covered the synopsis of the story as I purchased the next 32 pages. Choices true to life. Female second guessing and balancing on the edge of a mythical relationship. Mac's continuing adventure discoverying her budding relations with Matt and Cal. Principles, ethics and humor is not enough to keep this modern woman from being entranced by Matt. I await the next episode on February 21st.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. WOW, this is getting better and better. Mac is trying her best to keep her mind off Matt and she does a good job for about 10 days. While at a ball for lawyers, with Cal she sees Matt walk in with a blonde on his arm. When Matt ask her to dance, while Cal is on the phone, he wants them to leave right them. Does she go with him and leave Cal alone? Can she be with Matt and keep her heart safe? Will Matt realize how he feels about her? And I love what happens with Lorraine but will she come back and try to hurt Mac? Another great addition to this series
