Legal Affairs – Objection
Volume 1 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

One year ago, I graduated from law school and embarked on a career as a purveyor of high priced legal shenanigans.
Six months ago, my boyfriend dumped me when I thought he might be proposing.
Two weeks ago, I got drunk and joined a secret sex club.
Two days ago, I had a torrid one-night stand with a stranger.

Today? Well, today I'm contemplating having an affair with my boss.

Matt Connover is all kinds of forbidden temptation wrapped up in a deliciously wicked package, and he's made it clear... he's only interested in sex.

My name is McKayla Dawson but everyone calls me Mac. I work at the powerhouse firm of Connover & Crown, LLP, where the law has never felt so hot.

But between you and me, I'm afraid my heart won't survive these Legal Affairs.

Legal Affairs – Stipulation
Volume 2 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

I crossed a line with my boss and there's no taking it back.
Not that I'd want to.

You see... Matt Connover? Well, he's something else. Strong, magnetic, sexy as hell... but yeah, he's still my boss.

What am I doing? Why is he so irresistible to me?

Maybe it's because I finally saw a different side to him. I saw, for a brief moment, that Matt is vulnerable, possibly damaged. Is it wrong that it makes him even sexier in my opinion?

I'm in deep and I don't see any way out.
I don't want to find a way out.
I want to find a way for both of us to stay involved in these Legal Affairs.

Legal Affairs – Violation
Volume 3 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

My life is in a tail-spin and I'm about ready to crash.

I've cut Matt Connover out of my life... well, at least out of my bedroom.
But I still have to deal with him at work. I have Lorraine intent on raining hell and destruction down upon me, which at least provides a nice diversion from my miserable feelings over Matt.

About the only good thing that has happened to me lately?
Cal Carson asked me out... and I accepted.

Matt's not going to like that. Not one little bit.
But that's not my problem now, is it?

Legal Affairs – Mitigation
Volume 4 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

I've seen a new side to Matt Connover. He's proven to me that there is something inside him other than icy control and masculine force.
I've seen care... tenderness... even protectiveness.
I've seen vulnerability.

But Matt Connover's issues run deep. I know Cal hurt him greatly, and he keeps himself protected because of that. I also sense there is something more to his pain that even I cannot comprehend.

Matt is struggling between what he knows and what he wants.
I'm struggling with boundaries and how to protect my own fragile heart.

This time I'm drawing a line in the sand and Matt can either step over to join me, or these Legal Affairs are finished forever.

Legal Affairs – Reparation
Volume 5 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

Matt Connover is like a new person. Caring, romantic and thoughtful. No worries though... he's still sexy as hell.

He has changed in every way that I have ever dreamed of, and he did it because he wants me. It's like a fairy tale of sorts.

Except... like with every fairy tale, there is a villain. One who threatens to disrupt the harmony we have created together.

Is what we have strong enough to survive? I truly believe that perhaps I can find love within these Legal Affairs. I'm just not sure Matt believes it.

Legal Affairs – Affirmation
Volume 6 in the Legal Affairs Serial Romance

Things are off, and I can't quite put my finger on it. Some things, however, are the same. For example, the sex with Matt is just as nuclear and consistent as it always has been.

Still... I feel like I'm holding onto Matt with my fingertips, like he's on the verge of slipping away and I don't know what to do.

When I started these Legal Affairs, I had no way of knowing the depth of feeling that would become involved. I had no way of knowing this man could shatter my existence.

I don't want to be hurt, so I'm grasping hard and I can only hope that he wants me enough to hang on just as tight.

Nice read, great characters, $4.99 for less than 200 pages for "several" books. Not sure its worth it.

189 pages on my ereader which could make this 1 book! Each book was 10 to 11 chapters. Geeezzzz I guess this autor was looking to make quick buck with the " BOX SET". Will not read this author again.

After reading Volume One as a stand alone and it being left as a cliffy, I had to buy the box set of Legal Affairs. Loved it! I was even sneaking around reading it on my Galaxy while I was at work! I won't go into what the story is about, you can read the synopsis yourself for that information. I will go into how much I loved these characters. I loved Matt as the powerful, alpha male of the book. But we could see from the beginning that there was a softie hiding in there somewhere. I loved Mac because she had the balls to stand up to him and fight for what she wanted. I even loved Cal. I thought it was great that he was a good friend to Mac even though she shot him down when he was showing interest in her. I hated Marissa (was that her name?), the stereotypical beotch of an ex-wife. The kind that likes to put the kid in the middle. Overall, I enjoyed this series and was sad when it came to an end. I whizzed through it in no time and it left me wanting more.

I love your stories Sawyer! You hit on different types of genre's and that's what makes your stories fantastic! My first read was Alex and then I was hooked. I wish more came in paperback. I sometimes get tired of carrying this big Nook around, but until then I just have to keep it charged.

Great read

The story was good...a quick fun read. Pretty predictable, but an OK storyline. My problem with this book is that it's advertised as a collection of 6 books...this 'collection' is only 200+ pages long, and much of that is taken up with separate covers and indexes! I'm just glad I bought the compilation because each 'book' was only 40-50 pages long...that's not a book, it's not even a novella. More like a short story. I'd have been very upset if I'd paid full price for each book in the series.

I LOVED this series! Mac and Matt are so flaming hot. The best part is that I was laughing as much as lusting! I adore Sawyers characters. <3

I was really happy with the way this serial series as a whole played out. I loved the characters from start to finish.  In this installment, more of Matt's past is revealed. He has a wicked ex and his relationship with her explains a lot about how he views relationships. The only issue I had with this, and it was intentional and necessary, but it still bugged me, was that Matt still allowed his ex to have a hold on him. It bugged me. A lot.  Overall, I was happy with Affirmation. There was a part of me that was sad to see it end and I'm hoping for a spin off with the supporting characters. This serial series is one of my favorites out there. Check it out if you want some short sexy reads!

Marissa has thrown a wrench into Mac and Matt's happy bliss. Matt starts acting like an idiot to push Mac away. In the meantime, a new attorney, Kylie, joins the legal team and has her eyes set on Matt which annoys Mac to no end. The worse part, Mac will have to take orders from Kylie on this case! Mac catching Matt in a lie and lets him have it. She gives him her piece of mind about EVERYTHING and then breaks it off with him. Everything blows up and Mac turns to Cal for help with a proposal she has. Cal ends up agreeing to her proposal. This pushes Matt to do some heavy soul searching and face demons from his past. He realizes he needs Mac and has to do a few things in order to win her back. I just loved how this story ended. Such a wonderful happy ending.

I loved this series. The chemistry between Matt and Mac was unbelievable. These two were so great together and I was so hoping for a HEA. To see Matt overcome the inner struggle he was going through because of his past was great. This was my first read by Sawyer Bennett and she did not disappoint. I look forward to reading more of her work. I highly recommend this series to others!!

Absolutely perfect! This is one of those stories that will keep you glued to your reader. And perfection between Matt and Mac. Mac is fresh out of a bad relationship and out of law school by a year. Her roommate gets her to join a dating service that specializes in one night stands. Mac is reluctant but does it anyway, time to move on with her life. When she meets the man and they begin their night together, she realizes it is what she needed. One night and no strings attached. But nothing goes according to plan. When the law firm she works for is bought out by a bigger company, she meets her new boss and guess what. Yes he is her one night stand. And when all hell breaks loose, they can't stay away from each other. There are a lot of different emotions while reading this one, from happy, funny, pain, hurt and sometimes you will want to kill Matt. Just pick this one up and enjoy the ride that Sawyer Bennett will take you on, it is well worth it. **I received free copies of the separate stories from the author**

Loved it!!! I'm such a fan of Mac and Matt from how they met to where they stand now. Book 6 picks up where things are starting to get a little shaky with Mac and Matt's relationship. Ever since Marissa came back into the picture Matt has started pulling away. He's distant, not hanging out or seeing Mac unless it's at work and even that has it's distance. She knows something's wrong but she can fix it or will it destroy what they have? When the time comes Mac realizes she can't do it anymore. Matt Connover cannot give her what she wants. If it were only sex it would be simple, but it's not, her hearts involved. Matt does the something that pisses Mac off and she ends up saying enough is enough. Gives a notice and decides to start something new, away from the sexy Matt Connover. With only a few days left Mac goes on a trip with Matt, business related of course, and things are strictly business. They are able to have the easy banter and as much as her heart yearns for him, she can't keep giving in. When goodbye is so close she feels a sadness and excitement. Sad because she won't get to see Matt F***ing Connover daily, but excited for this new adventure. Matt makes an expected move that makes Mac so proud. Can Matt realize that Mac is the one for him? Or will it be too late? This was a beautiful conclusion to the series! I am going to miss the series though. I loved how it ended, but so sad that it's over. Definitely a must read series! Make sure to pick it up today!

I am so sad to see this series end. It has been so amazing. Mac feels like there is something off about her and Matt's relationship. Their sexual chemistry is as good as ever but, he is almost indifferent towards her. She feels like he is pulling away ever since Matt’s little issue with Marissa. Things just keep getting worse and then a new attorney is brought in. A female, named Kylie and her intentions towards Matt are far from innocent.  This leads to things only getting worse between Matt and Mac. Mac is done, she has had enough of Matt’s cool exterior and flirting with Kylie and she lets Matt know it. Will these two be done for good? Will Matt ever get over his insecurities?  One thing these to have figured out for sure are their sex life. Wow, I mean explosive knock your socks off. Mac is completely ok with that part of their relationship. She just really needs that emotional connection with Matt. She feels it, but does he? I like that Mac distanced herself from Matt. She needed to figure herself out and he needed to realize what he had lost. Will Mac get her happily ever after? The ending I thought was perfect for these two. I don’t want to spoil the ending so I’m not going to tell you what happens. This was such an amazing story and I loved every minute of it. Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors and I will continue to read everything she writes! Go pick up this series!!

Mac's fears are coming true about Matt pulling away from her like she thought, after his confrontation with Marissa about Gabe he was putting his walls back up around his heart. He goes as far as hiring a new attorney Kylie that Mac felt was to drive a wedge between them......and of course you know it did !! Kylie asks Mac if Matt is seeing anyone and she wanted to tell her the truth YES "ME"...but she held her tongue and said he was a private person with his personal life with the staff hoping it would steer her in the other direction...but you know it didn't....the last straw was Matt going out with the guys from work on one night which was fine but when she found out Kylie was there Mac lost it !! Her heart couldn't take anymore and she confronted Matt and let him have it with both barrel's !! She told him how she felt about Kylie, how he was shutting her out and how Marissa made the moves on Cal not the other way around and to make him look at the big picture that he was pushing the best things out of his life because of his Ex-Wife's bad judgements !! After that Matt transferred her to another division in the law firm so they didn't have work on cases together anyone more so she put in her two weeks notice to finally put an end to it ALL !! Cal had always just been her friend and when she was ready to move on she decided she wanted to go into partners in a NEW law firm with Cal, Carson and Dawson LLC. and they did !! .....and she took the Peterson case with her !! The little talking to Matt received from Mac and the knowledge of her new law firm with Cal must have been the push Matt needed to get his life back together and move on from the past and look into the future.....he made amend's with Cal, fired Kylie after she made advances on him...but what about Mac can he get her back after pushing her away time and time again ? Will she be able to let him back into her heart ?  I have to say I am so Very Very SAD that this series is done because I looked forward to every few weeks reading about Mac and Matt's story !! This series was FANTASTIC and so so WELL WRITTEN and the titles for each one of the books fit the stories PERFECTLY !! Affirmation.....a statement of the existence or truth of something; assertion was this Mac's speech to Matt or was it Matt realizing what he had to do all the time with Mac....atleast he did it in the end !!!! <3

Great writing. No errors in writing. Good flow, easy to read.
