Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"As for a specific aspect of the book that particularly appeals to me, this would have to be the affable writing style that fills every chapter. The book is absolutely "reader friendly," the best that I have found among the legal environment competitors."- Jack E. Karns, East Carolina University

"I fully intend to propose the 11th edition for the Business Law courses here. I've been using Prof. Meiners' textbook for my entire teaching career, occasionally reviewing others, but coming back to this one. For our students, this has been close to ideal."- John King, Concorida University--Texas

This text on the legal and regulatory environment of business presents the legal environment from the perspective of the professional non- lawyer. The text features many classic and recent cases, with background information and case decisions. Other learning features include international perspectives, discussion of cyberlaw, boxes on unusual cases, and articles from major business publications. This eighth edition contains new and revised material on employment relationships, employment law, and dispute resolution. Meiners is affiliated with the University of Texas. Annotation c.
