Overview

Excruciating pain is something Nicholas must daily endure while resisting his desires, through constant exercise of self control. The suffering he could cause others would be substantially worse if he were to ever lose his tenacity to resist. His temptations have grown significantly worse after an encounter with a starved and obsessed Succubus named Delilah. Nicholas has now become her most sought after conquest; and she will not cease her intent in capturing his heart and devotion. Nicholas embarks on a journey, ignited by what he feels is the necessity to flee from Delilah's grasp, in his fear for the safety of others. He discovers an unusual world during his journey, far stranger than he could have ever imagined. A world where the unanswered questions he's always longed for, start to unveil more than just who and what he really is. Nicholas is no longer a day dreaming child full of delusions, but he is a man embarking on his own Odyssey and ready to discover his purpose. He wasn't just simply running away as far as he could from Delilah, the truth was far more complicated. He sees the opportunity to get to what he believed to be the source of all his suffering, the place where the story of what he was began; The Cradle of Life. You are invited to take a journey into this literary world that will steadily become clearer to you the deeper you dive, and if you pay attention you'll discover answers to some of the philosophical questions we have in our own world today.

Legatum is one of the best novels I have read in quite some time. What started out as a simple promise to read the author's book (for we work together), turned out to be the best kept promise. I am not typically into fictional stories. However, this page turning story kept me biting my tongue in suspense. I could not read it fast enough to see the plot evolve and really take shape. I could relate to the characters for they were so realistic and fascinating. I felt like I was there in the story w

I was looking for something new to read the other day. A friend recommended Legatum to me, and what a good recommendation it was. Legatum had everything I was looking for; it was quirky, intriguing, and entertaining. The story of Nicky's journey of discovery had it all: love of family, adventure, mythical and supernatural characters, sex, moral choices, and the pain of addiction. Who could ask for more? The last chapter kept me riveted, and made me stay up way to late - but I had to find out how

Highly Recommend that you check out this book!

This book is a combination of mythology, fantasy and ethics wrapped up in the setting of present day elite culture. These old world figures living in modern society with a new generation of enlightened figures coming into their own and understanding what they were born to do. All of the characters in this book live with a range from passion, rage, sexuality, the cripling sense of right and wrong, revenge, manipulation, energy, sacrifice and love. There are elements and interests in this book that appeal to any kind of reader. The journey from front to back was exciting, saucy, with some twists and questions left to be answered at a later time. When reading you can tell the author has experience and/or has put a great amount of time into researching time periods and human nature. He takes you on a wild ride into the unknown and by the end, allows you to begin to understand the energy that passes between us all in a different light. I highly recommend that you check out this book.

    Must Read!

I felt like I was there in the story with them. There are a few captivating scenes of pure lust and attraction. In these scenes the author has such a descriptive way of drawing you into the scene, making you wish that was you on those pages. He captures every part of your humanity within the pages of his book, that you will not be able to put it down once you start. The way the ending all comes together is priceless, each piece falling into place perfectly. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
