Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
When Mistletoe the kitten was born on Christmas Day, the other cats saw him -- and promptly scampered away. Hurt and confused, this defenseless kitty worried that he had been consigned to life's trash heap, until one day his path crossed those of three other lost kittens. It doesn't take Mistletoe or young readers long to realize that small, unselfish acts of kindness can bring their own rewards and a sense of inner peace.

    I Also Recommend:

    Great lesson on accepting diversity

This story is a wonderful way for children to learn about accepting diversity. Also, I loved the symbolism used portraying the Christmas story, although most young children would not pick up on this.

Cute for kids of all ages

This book is great to read to your kids! My mom read it to me (as a christmas tradition), and I'm 17. I've also read it to my little brother, who is four, and he enjoyed it as well! This book teaches resposibility and the love that families have.
