Can this be a sequel please!

I love this book so much I want to know more about Lana's mermaid world. Or maybe even a prequel explaining more about the merwalkers etc. I absolutely could not put it down. I would love to have it in print.

    LOVED IT!

    Legend of the Mer

I recently read the book titled "Legend of the Mer". I have to admit I was a bit hesitant because I have never really been "into" mermaids. I was afraid I would become bored. But i bit the bullet and downloaded the book and read it. Boy was I wrong.
The book is about a girl named Lana. Lana was born with some physical deformities and she never quite "fit in". She was raised by her father who tried to shelter her, maybe a little to much. Her mother drowned when Lana was very young, and her father was very secretive about her death. He would never let her in the water. She secretly started taking swimming lessons and found another world she never knew existed. This lead Lana on an exciting journey under the sea. I'll stop here because I don't want to give anymore of the story line away. I have to say that I truly enjoyed reading this book. I was actually upset when I finished it, I wanted the story to keep going. I can't wait for the sequel!

    A Great Read For All

I love the trials Lana faces and overcomes in her life. As a teacher I love the fact that the author has created a character that has differences which make her special. This is an easy read that will touch your heart. I highly recommend it.

Why isn't this book a movie yet??? It is there most creative book I've read in the past few years. It's like Twilight meets The Little Mermaid. Wow, definitely gonna read it again.

    Feel Good Book

I read this story several months ago and I still can't get it out of my head. This is a tale that will make you feel all warm inside and make you feel better than you did to start with. It makes mermaids seam a possibility and love in the grasp of the unwanted from society. So if you are feeling down and out, this is the book for you. If I had anything that could make it just a tad better, I would suggest to the author to add a little more action in it. I loved the book but there were moments when I felt a little more conflict could be beneficial. But this book is definately a treasure and I am expecting more from this author.

    breath of fresh air

It is so wonderful to finally be able to read a book that is wholesome and imaginative. I am so tired of all the crap that is circulating in our written entertainment. I've never heard of this author before, but she is definitely a lady. The book itself is very refreshing and makes you feel like you can belong even if you look a little different. I always have loved mermaid stories and this one didn't disappoint.

Story line could have been great but was not written well at all. Could not get through it. Maybe if I was 9 years old.
