Overview

LegenDaddy is the first album since 2012 from reggaeton pioneer Daddy Yankee, and reportedly his final outing. In February 2022, he announced his retirement from music, wanting to become a film and video producer after a farewell tour in support of this release. Composed of 19 old-school and contemporary reggaeton tracks, LegenDaddy skillfully incorporates elements of trap, salsa, bachata, cumbia, dembow, and EDM. It features noteworthy collaborations with Myke Towers "(Pasatiempo"), Bad Bunny ("Ex Ultima Vez"), Sech ("Para Siempre"), Rauw Alejandro and Nile Rodgers ("Agua"), Becky G and Natti Natasha ("Zona del Perreo"), Pitbull ("Hot"), and El Alfa and Lil Jon ("Bombon").
