Ernesto Assante, 47-years-old, is a journalist and has worked as a music critic for la Repubblica since 1978. He contributes to numerous Italian and foreign weeklies and monthlies, including Epoca, L’Espresso, and Rolling Stone, and has devised and edited the Musica, Computer Valley and Computer, Internet e Altro supplements of la Repubblica.
He has worked as a radio presenter for RAI and as a television writer for the RAI and Mediaset networks. He has been director of McLink, the first Italian Internet provider. He also devised and directed the Repubblica.it project and was one of the founders and director of Kataweb.
