Legends of Rock & Roll - Paul Anka
Paul Anka started out as a teen idol. He was the boy the girls all swooned over when he sang. I listened to the radio a lot when I was a kid and always enjoyed a Paul Anka song when it came on.

Even though Paul was a great singer (and still is), he’s also one of the best songwriters that we’ve had in the past fifty years. He has written songs that have become icons in our American culture. Songs like the Theme song of the Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was at the helm. He wrote “She’s a Lady” which was a big hit for Tom Jones and, I think, his best, he wrote “My Way” which was one of Frank Sinatra’s signature songs.

In this little ebook, I discuss the life and music of Paul Anka. The good and the bad, except for Paul Anka, there wasn't a lot of bad. He has won just about every award there is to give and this is my tribute to him.

The subjects covered are:

Introduction
His Youth
"Diana"
"The Winter Dance Party"
Popularity Grows
Writing for Others
Films & TV
Active in Other Countries
Return to the Spotlight
Later Career
