    Great collection!

This huge collection of stories features Marshall Rogers artistic take on Batman! This graphic novel collects Rogers early work on Batman, which features the Dark Knight battling the Joker, Hugo Strange, the Penguin, and Clayface. It also features Batman's love affair with Silver St. Cloud. From there on, it bring us up to date on Rogers recent work on Batman. The only complaints I have on this collection include the "Siege" story line written by James Robinson, which is absolutely terrible! The horrible writer definitely puts a damper on Rogers artistic ability! Also, not all of the original single magazine covers from the stories collected here are included in this collection. At least two or three are missing, which is disappointing. However, a high note to make up for that is the last storyline, "Dark Detective", which not only is wonderfully written, but also features Rogers art in rare form. If your a true Batman fan, you'll add this to your collection. So, pick it up!
