Overview

Legends Untold is a collection of nine terrifying untold tales by up and coming authors. These legends are being spoken for the first time, but perhaps they shouldn’t be:

Inedible Darling by E Albert Branstrom
An undertaker tries to give his offspring to a traveling circus sideshow with disastrous results.

Paddocks Cove by Douglas J. Moore
The Public Relations officer of the Paddocks Cove police would like to explain what happened last night and hopes it will amuse.

The Uncanny Deaths of Nathan MacLeod by Edmund Siderius
Do ghosts envy the living? If they do, beware.

Doors by Eric Styles
There is evil waiting behind the most innocent of doors. Beware, keep your family away, and stay safe from that old house missing all of its doors.

The Hanged Man by Richard Eline
A retiring police detective finds a man hung by his heels in an abandoned building. This was more than murder but how much more. The questions remain to this day.

Circus Extravagansis by Dave Fragments
Four earthling runaway teens become involved in the internal politics of the largest traveling circus in space and one by one, they find the quintessence of circus life.

The Walking Man by Chris Stevens
There used to be hitchhikers on the back roads. Stop at your own risk. They're kindly souls but don't ever cross them.

Into The Night by Rick McQuiston
You can't drive fast enough to stay alive on this road.

The Wrecker Man by George Pastore
Let's go camping in the middle of nowhere. It'll be fun for all involved, including that big red tow truck with the ghostly driver come to take his due.

About the Author

Kathy Rippa has been a full time artist of various forms, for a number of years. Her wish is to evoke a feeling with each piece, whether it be dread, confusion or insanity ... or to occasionally dip into the sexuality we all tend to hide. She’s mostly known for her digital work although her oil paintings are now being exhibited in various galleries.

E. Albert Branstrom lives with his wife and two cats in Ann Arbor, Michigan. When he’s not scribbling away at short horror tales, you'll likely find him sipping cheap red wine and watching silent films.

Douglas J. Moore writes contemporary horror and speculative fiction inspired by his childhood in New England and his experiences wandering the backwoods, former factory towns, and haunted hamlets of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. His fiction has appeared both online and in print, with his piece “The Army of Al-Din” appearing in the zombie anthology So Long and Thanks for the Brains! and his urban horror piece “O’Bryan’s Curse” appearing in the Static Movement Anthology And I Swear This Is True . . .

Edmund Siderius was born on a Canadian military base in occupied Germany during the Cold War. After traveling around Europe, at the age of four, he and his family moved to rural Nova Scotia, Canada, where they remained for the rest of his formative years. He is currently completing his PhD in Science and Technology Studies at York University in Toronto. Siderius has published a poetry collection, Songs Unsung, Poems Unspoken, a series of popular history articles about the relationship between Goethe’s Faust and alchemy called “Flames of Hell or Fire of Heaven?” and is a frequent blogger. His current projects include a concept album, The Graf von Strahlheim, and a collection of weird tales, Unsettling Things.

Eric Styles lives somewhere in California in his grandmother’s basement. He hasn’t been out in a while and is unsure if anyone is still alive upstairs. Thankfully he has the voices in his head to keep him company.

Richard Eline is a long time Lovecraft fan. Having been a soldier, policeman, investigator and Deputy Sheriff along the way, he's seen real horrors. He lives in York County, PA, in the second dullest town in America, with hopes of returning to Baltimore some day.
