Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
The characters in this picture book, also done in graphic or comic book style, are created from Legos. It is the story of the Evil Sith Lord Darth Sidious who is out to conquer the galaxy. What stand in his way? The young queen Amidala of Naboo, but they are thwarted by a Jedi master and his apprentice. Her royal highness escapes from her home planet, but her ship is damaged. That is when R2-D2 appears on the scene and makes the necessary repairs. The cast is in place and the battle is on when they arrive at the planet Tatooine. Will Darth Maul succeed? Light sabers flash and the good guys make their escape and head back to retake the Queen's Palace; it is a tough fight and it looks like Darth Maul is going to win, but at the last minute the tables are turned. There is a happy ending. Part of the "Star Wars Lego Library" and readers are also invited to visit the official Star Wars website at www.starwars.com Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
