Meet the Author

Hi, I'm Nick Taylor, I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, possibly the greatest place on earth. I went to Dakota Ridge High and was in band-- that's right I was a band nerd and no, I don't have any cool "one time at band camp" stories, so don't ask.

I started writing in October of 2007. I was driving around with a friend and said "hey, I wonder if I can write a book." So I thought I'd try and write outline and see what happens. Well, I finished the outline and I couldn't just stop there. I needed to write chapter one and then that would be it. Do you see where this is going? Anyway, after chapter one was done, I had to finish the first book. But I wanted to get input as I went in order to write a better story. I decided to do a podcast of the first three chapters to see what people thought. After the first podcast, I decided that I wanted to continue to do it and more over, I wanted to get a larger listener base. It's all been a wonderful journey from there.

Not as good as the first two

I realky love these books and can't count how many times I have read the first two waiting on the third. However, it was rushed and crutial details were missed. Stacey's betrayal not being addresses or acknowledged let me down a lot. This book could have been so much more. A lesson for other authors to take their time and do it right.

    Needs work

For young readers, this is a pretty good book. He seems to be a new author. He may get better. He needs to not rely on spell check so much. There is a difference between faint and feint, plain and plane, and waste and waist. Also there are some punctuation errors. These errors detract form the story.

    Very Interesting

Seemed a little rushed at the end, but other than that a wonderful conclusion to a satisfactory trioligy.

    Good tale, poorly written

It doesn't appear that anyone edited these books. I started tracking spelling, grammar and style errors and averaged more than once per page. I had to put it down a number of times because it the lack of attention to grammar and wading through 20 words when 10 is all that is needed. Cluttered sentences require much more effort to decipher the story.

The worst problems were using spellcheck without making sure its the correct spelling; incorrect use of commad (either omiting them when needed or using one instead of a period

    Captivating

This series is so enthralling, you can almost reach out and touch the characters. It's one flaw is the seemingly large amount of spelling errors, otherwise great books.

First two books in the series were great. The second book had an incredible twist at the end that was never resolved in "Legon Restoration" and therein lies my disappointment.

    That's it?

I agree with the last reviewer; Stacy's betrayal sat on my shoulder till the end & annoyed me after. It was a great series but I really don't like loose ends.

Love the series; typos are AWFUL

This series is really engaging. Have been waiting anxiously for #3!

Unfortunately, the text is full of typos, misspellings and grammatical errors that are tremendously distracting.

I hope to see more from this author, he take classical fantasy in new directions. The Iumenta are just enough different from every other "dark elf" race out there to be interesting and original.

    Dont waste your money

On this book or the second. The author won't bother to hire an editor or proofreader with his profits. He had 3 chances to publish an error free ebook and failed 3 times. I wish I could get a refund.

    Highly recommended book

The legon series made by Nicholas Taylar is a two thumbs up book.Couldn't put the book down it was so good l had to pace myself so l wouldnt finish it in two days.Probably a pg-13 book because of (war) like blood and organs that get sliced out someones body but other than that l wish the author had made the series longer
