I loved this book! I am going to tell you that things I want to

I loved this book! I am going to tell you that things I want to hear in a review. 1. It is 676 pages including an excerpt from the second book due June 2013. The actual book is about 660 pages. 2. This is one of those books that I could not put down. I had to force myself to turn off my nook at 2:30am! Then I was secretly excited about not having finished it the next morning. I just love a book like that! :) 3. The storyline is unique, the romance is sweet and there are some steamy scenes. There is also adult language for those of you who are sensitive to cursing and graphic language (I am not). I would say this is one of the books in the New Adult Romance Genre. Ranks up there with Abbi Glines- one of my faves!

    Six stars...That good

So resreshing to read a story I had not heard before. Loved the strong female who chose to rise above her foster upbringing. I could not put this one down AND it was over 500 PAGES. There is no tricky book 2 & 3 or four. It is a whole book and an exceptionally great read...enjoyed and will read again and again!

I love this book! I thought Leo and Evie were well thought out

I love this book! I thought Leo and Evie were well thought out characters and their story very well written. I appreciated the author giving us an epilogue instead of keeping us dangling waiting for the next piece of the story! Having said that, I would love to read another book by this author!

    Leo

I loved reading this book. The author was very creative and she had in depth knowledge of what foster kids have to endure. I was happy that Leo & Evie had a second chance as adults to reconnect their love. This book touched my heart.

    Screen Tapper!

Had me hooked from start to finish. I enjoyed the progress of the character development. I loved the innocent love shared between young Leo and Evie. You never know where you'll find your soulmate.

I look forward to reading more from this promising new author.

Ummmm.... i may be alone in this but.....

Am i the only one that figured this one out in the description? Ugh. I like surprise and twists. I honestly started reading because i though for sure it couldn't be that see through. I was wrong. And come on! Its so obvious already that you don't need to drop glaringly obvious hints. Frustrated!!!

3.5 Stars! I'm a TORN on this one.. And why did I feel this way

3.5 Stars! I'm a TORN on this one..

And why did I feel this way? Oh let me just say, the first 20% of the book was quite good and unique. The originality and concept was great, but once the characters were established it became like every other book out there..I felt like I was reliving FSOG, the similarities were daunting. Maybe I'm just tired of the same ole crap..

It's always the same theme, the rich, gorgeous, domineering man, that exudes sex appeal... Always falling in love with the last DAMN virgin on earth.. Jake's womanizing ways, the dark childhood, and the bossy attitude. I kept thinking to myself, am I reading the same book. Is this the same Jake from the first half of the book because he did a complete 180 degree turn. I just couldn't connect to the characters, it all seemed so vain.

Regardless, it was good enough to finish, and the ending was nicely wrapped up with some unexpected twists and turns. Which redeemed the book for me... The ending was pretty good..eventhough it was predictable..

    Major dissapointment

Ripped through two other books by this author that I couldn't put down but this one was painful and i found myself skimming just to hurry and get it done. The story was predictable and the male lead came off as pushy and obnoxious

    Not impressed

I'm sad to leave such a bad review because I was so excited to read this book at first but was really disappointed. It had such a great rating and lots of people enjoyed it, but honestly I just didn't connect with the characters. As soon as we met Jake, I knew how the book was going to end, no surprises at all. The "steamy" scenes were really cheesy and he was just a weirdo.

I ended up skimming the rest of this book just to feel better about spending money on the book.

    Unfortunately not a fan!

I did love Archer's voice and was looking forward to Leo especially since the reviews were so high, but didn't care much for it at all! The story line felt similsr to bits of the Fifty Shades trillog, which I loved, but this was super rushed and I couldn't connect with the characters! I was dissapointed and was glad I didn't get the Leo's chance book! I prolly would't have even given it one str if I didn't have to to rate it an post! Also, I will agree with another reader that the love scenes were cheesy! I am normally not a basher, but I was so badly not a fan that I had to! Don't know what all the hype was about! Sorry!

    Wow!

Wow, what an amazing book this was. Beautifully written and with characters and a storyline that pull you in emotionally. A story of survival and endurance and of pure love. Cannot recommend it enough.

    Bummer

    :(
Going by a majority of the reviews and the storyline, I was looking forward to a good read. I'm already 160 pages in and I'm dragging myself through the book. I'm always one to finish a book. If I spent money on it, I might as well read it. I feel like its nothing but run-on sentances and rushed thoughts, predictable, and emotionless. Very frustrating trying to get through it. If you thought this book is good, then you're probably missing out on books 100 times better and more captivating than this! I have plenty of suggestions to anyone interested!
