My hats off to Bramly for not only capturing an elusive subject, but moving his readers with this surprisingly detailed story. My life was profoundly impacted by this book. Leonardo warns in this book that one should not try to do many things at once, but should only focus on one thing at a time; Leonardo believed it made the mind feeble and weak. I took it to heart. Bramly makes Da Vinci pulsate with life. I was enthralled by this book. I recommend it to anyone.

This well elaborated biography expands the reader and anyone who knows about Leonardo the painter of the Mona Lisa, with the different sides of this man.For he was not just an artist,as also a scientist and a thinker who at his time had discovered a lot of meanings of art and science.Being born as an illegitamite child, he desisgned his life through lots of periods where he lived in Vinci, Florence and other cities which made him a landmark personality at the time of the Italian Renaissance.
