Kirk West is first and foremost a music lover. Beginning at age eighteen with his first concert shoot of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, West has built an archive of images taken over more than forty years, covering a wide range of music icons and cultural phenomena. He lives in Macon, GA.
In addition to his three solo albums, seven albums with the Allman Brothers, and Gov’t Mule’s sixteen studio and live releases, Warren Haynes has accumulated stacks of accolades for his efforts. They range from Grammy wins and nominations to being ranked number 23 on Rolling Stone’s list of “The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”
