If you are going to name an album "The 10 Greatest Classical Emotions" then the music should live up to that title. While I feel that the music was chosen to evoke certain emotions, the artists' interpretations of these songs were somewhat bland. These selections could have produced some very moving experiences for the listener. Perhaps my lack of joy in the artist's voices was clouding my vision--I've heard many of these pieces before and prefer those voices over these. I think that the voices on this disc are suited more for Early music and not "classical" music as the album/tracks suggests.
However, the choral group ACCENTUS never ceases to amaze me. Their rendition of Barber's Adagio is absolutely stunning.
