About the Author:
Melissa Saunders is a former elementary school teacher and elementary school counselor with master's degrees in both counseling and education. Through her work as a teacher and counselor, she grew to closely understand many of the issues and concerns facing young people and their families. Her desire to encourage and support children and their families evolved into a career as an author and speaker. Melissa lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband and son.
