The first book of Jo Goodman's that I read and still my favorite. An intelligent hero and heroine and a mystery between them. Well-written drama.

The series is good overall. The last book was a little disappointing.

Let Me Be the One by Jo Goodman is a fantastic read. Ms Goodman has once again delivered a well written book. I love the characters, they are fantastic! There is plenty of action, suspense, humor and sizzle in this fast paced story. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from the talented Jo Goodman in the future. Let Me Be the One is book 1 of the Compass Club Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I find Elizabeth to be one of the most unpleasant, annoying heroines I've ever read. Though I can understand her reasons, I found her attitude and her lies upon lies aggravating to the point that I wanted to scream. I'm not certain I will continue the series, though I am quite fond of The Compass Club members themselves.

I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for my honest review. This was one of the best reading experiences I've ever had! The story included two mysteries, a romance, villains that didn't appear villainous, loyal friendships begun in childhood, and a hero and heroine that were not perfect, but perfectly captivating. The story captured my attention from the first page and kept my attention to the last page. I gave the book 5 stars, because I know this book will become an old favorite, that I will remember fondly and read again and again. I'm positive that each time I read it , I'll fall in love with it all over again. This is book one of The Compass Club Series and I am looking forward to reading the other three books of the series.

Excellent story, right amount of sex, loyalty, humor, betrayal. This story hit all the high notes for me.
