"Let The Road Pave Itself" is a soulful, light rock collection. The songs are clean and have a positive slant which is neither corny nor forced. The music is themed around redemption and hope. Phillip LaRue, after helping with the production of Tenth Avenue North's "Over and Underneath," has made at least a small ripple of his own, and for those who like to follow up-and-coming musicians, LaRue is one to watch. My favorite track is "Chasing the Daylight"
