There certainly are others mining this turf, but by mixing soul, classic British pop and confessional singer/songwriter styles with craftsman's ethic, he suggests a budding Elton John in the making.

    Standout Recording

Excellent pairing of artist and producer. Songs are undeniably compelling, arrangements deftly-crafted, big organic natural sound, even when pushed to larger than life... balanced, moving, brilliant performances from both sides of the glass. Goose bumps don't lie... this record goes instantly into my recording studio reference library!

    Andy does it again!

Andy Davis does not dissapoint in this latest CD. His lyrics are honest and inspire emotion in every song. Brown Eyes is upbeat and hopeful. Black Keys is sadness done beautifully. It's another great set of songs.

    Foundation for the New Generation

Andrew's music hits universal keys and strikes global cords. He extracts the superior blood of each genre and era, transfusing an organic "Sinatra meets Mayer" sound. As "cookie cutter" artists come and go - Andrew is laying the foundation for the new generation of musical geniuses.

    Outstanding!

Andy Davis is simply amazing. I could go on and say everything I thought about this album, but everyone has already said it. He definitely keeps getting better and better, and if you haven't heard him live, you should, because he really knows how to perform and sounds just as amazing. Let The Woman is a must-buy!

Catchy tunes you'll want stuck in your head

Andy Davis is the sound you've probably spent years searching for. Place this album in your cd player, and it will be a while before you can convince yourself to switch to another. I crossed paths with Andy in high school, and am glad for it. Not sure how I would have heard about his music otherwise. Buy it. Love it. Tell your friends.

    Amazingly laid back...

I'm a big fan of Andy Davis and this CD just proves he's a great artist...he keeps the same good 'ole Andy Davis sound but changes up the style with different songs...every single song on this CD is good, it's on repeat for hours! Great guy with a great voice!

    Simply brilliant.

Listening to Andy Davis's latest cd was like enjoying a hot cup of cocoa on a cold Buffalo winter night. It warmed me all the way down to my toes. Andy Davis is such a unique artist in that he makes every song worth listening to over and over. It's not everyday that you can find an artist who actually writes and plays his own music. He does it with passion and personality. From Brown Eyes to Believable Doubt, this record has it all. Loneliness, Love, Learning, Longing - Andy makes you live it.

    My Favorite Christmas Gift!!!

I can't seem to get enough of Andy's new album "Let the Woman" -- I've been singing along with my own harmonies and even getting my groove on when I'm so moved. Andy is a great musician and lyricist whose work I heartily endorse! I only wish I were the brown-eyed girl he has been searching for...

    Andy Davis: Beautifully Soulful

I have to say, I wasn't familiar with Andy Davis until a couple of weeks ago when I found him on MySpace, so I can't go into details and dissect his other albums in comparison to this one. However, this album to me, is the most perfect mix of beauty, passion, and soul. Andy's style of writing evokes such amazing imagery that within moments of listening, you are completely transported into the world that he has created. The music is such a compliment to the lyrics, and the flow from track to track is perfect. Andy's vocals are raw and yet soft, passionate and yet calming. While listening to other albums after hearing this one, I realized a stark contrast to the over processing of their sounds in comparison to "Let The Woman" 's acoustic-y feel. Recording this album in 10 days was probably the best thing Andy could have done because it evokes a sense of being in the moment, and of timelessness. All in all, only knowing of this man and his music for 3 weeks now, I am fully won over and can't wait to watch his growth over the next few years. This is definitely an album that any person can listen to and find something to appreciate, which makes it a perfect gift for the holidays.
