What if someone offered you $100,000 with the only stipulation being that a murderer would be killed if you accept the money? Would you take it? The people who choose to take it are about to find out the ramifications of their decisions to be part of this Lethal Experiment!
Donovan Creed, former CIA assassin, is a smart-aleck tough guy who can't resist a noble cause. Despite a ton of baggage and a penchant for call girls, he always finds a way to beat the bad guys. In this sequel to Lethal People, Creed is forced to choose between his thriving contract-killer business, his part in the Lethal Experiment, and his desire to live a normal life with the beautiful Kathleen Gray and her newly-adopted daughter, Addie. Before that can happen, he has to take care of some lethal business involving a former lover.
Lethal Experiment is a breezy and fun page-turner, featuring grisly humor, outrageous characters, and sexy dialogue.

I give 5 stars to all John Locke books, but I would give 6 stars to this one if I could. Not only is it a page turning thriller - it's the kind of book that forces the reader to have an opinion from page 1. And that's hard to find in thrillers and crime novels. Sure, he'll keep you on your toes - and you better be ready for a surprise - but this is also a novel to read with your friends. It's ripe for a fun, light hearted moral debate. I read the whole thing on the beach in an afternoon!

I have never been so thrilled by a mystery crime novel before this one! Donovan Creed grips the readers attention and the plot is a delight to an action fan! Fights, gun shots, crime scene, police chase, this story has them all, and romance too. Conflicted characters, twist and turns, I just loved this book! I just could not stop turning the pages. A wonderful book, worthy of 5 stars!.

This book gives the reader a different view of life and death and how people cope with unusual situations. I found "Lethal Experiment" by John Locke to be a good book that made me think about life, possibilities and be thankful for my mundane existence.

    Train Wreck #2

A disturbingly funny sequel to Lethal People. Again I found myself disturbed by what was occurring in the book but unable to put it down. I'm almost ashamed I found such humor in the depravity - almost :) Donovan Creed is a character you can't help but enjoy. Definitely recommend!

I read this after reading Lethal People (Donovan Creed 1). It is an extension of that story and is fun to read.. After reading this, I bought several more Donovan Creed Books.

    Fun Engaging Read

I came upon this author quite by accident. After reading the first book of the Donovan Creed Series I was hooked. I couldn't read the rest fast enough. And when I was done, I still wanted more. That's how good of a story teller Locke is. I have told all my friends and family about this author and his books. Check it out for yourself.

Outstanding, I've now downloaded ALL his books.

Great writing, super humor, clever story and plenty of suspense as well as mystery and intrigue. If you enjoy CIA covert action with Janet Evanovich humor, you'll love Locke!

It just gets better with #2

I can't believe how much I like this series. I found this story unexpected and just can't guess what will happen next. Better than Lethal People and will have you craving the next adventure of Donovan Creed.

Don't miss out on a really good reading experience

This is my first time writing a review but i felt this author was worth it. First of all this is not the usual 99 cent read. This story is well written it gets you caught up in the characters and i find my favorite is Donovan Creed the good bad guy you cant help to root for. If the rest of the series are as good i'll have no problem breezing through within the week.

    Great entertainment!

The second in the Donovan Creed books, this one is another winner. As with the others, I could not put this one down either. I am just so glad I stumbled upon John Locke's books after the fith one so that I could read them all back to back and not have to wait in between. In this book, Creed is trying to decide if he cam live a normal life with the woman he loves and her adopted daughter. First, of course, he has a little bit of assasin work to do for his evil midget friend, the "Lethal Experiment." In this book we get to see a more tender side of the assasin, the one that falls in love and tries to decide if he can cut his ties with the underworld and become a family man. A quick read like all of Lockes other books and quite a steal at the Nook price! Great entertainment!

    Best book of the series!

Going from Lethal People to Lethal Experiment one sees a progression in the writing of Locke. I am not saying Lethal People was bad, I tremendously enjoyed it. It is just that Lethal Experiment has so many twists and turns in it and it is not just a straight up action packed book - although it is action packed. It creates a new aesthetic to Locke's writing. Having read all of the Donovan Creed novels this is definitely my favorite!

    Lethal Experiment

I thought Lethal People was amazing so I read Lethal Experiment and officially became addicted to the series. A marvel combination of action, drama, and breath-taking excitement. I love how Donovan Creed constantly keeps us wanting more by mistakenly falling in love with Kathleen and her adopted child in the mix. Do yourself a favor and grab this book!
