Overview

Having put up for too long with her philandering husband, songwriter Gary Stuart (Ray Milland), Constance (Jane Wyman) hatches a plan to gain revenge. But when her own attempt at carrying on an "innocent" affair places Constance squarely in the romantic sights of an Alaskan millionaire (Aldo Ray), she and Gary are suddenly headed for a divorce that neither really wants. Despite his infidelity, Constance still loves Gary and, in an effort to save their marriage, throws a party for him and his new girlfriend. And when her torrid dance convinces him that he still loves her, too, Gary and Constance reconcile just minutes before their divorce becomes final.
