Let's Go Jivin' to Rock and Roll

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - James Christopher Monger
This 1991 Bear Family compilation of 1940s and '50s rock & roll, swing, and pop offers up a nice cross section of styles and artists, but pales in comparison to similarly themed offerings due to a severe lack of classics. Let's Go Jivin' to Rock and Roll may sport some big names like Perry Como, the Sons of the Pioneers, Pee Wee King, and Neil Sedaka, but without Johnny Restivo's "The Shape I'm In" or Como's "Dig You Later A Hubba-Hubba-Hubba," this collection would just be whole lot of pleasant, well-executed jukebox filler.
