I love, love, love this book! Since Ingrid Newkirk came out with 250 Things to Make Your Cat Adore You, I've been hoping she would release a book about dogs. I am definitely not disappointed! This book has EVERYTHING you need to know about dogs. There's even recipes for dog treats and cakes--and some recipes humans can appreciate. If you have a dog, or know someone who does, you need to read this book.

Equal time for canines, and an ideal companion to '250 Things You Can Do To Make Your Cat Adore You.' Just as in 'Making Kind Choices' and '50 Awesome Ways Kids Can Help Animals,' Ms. Newkirk displays the depth of her compassion for all beings, and offers heart-opening ways to bring love and kindness into our daily lives. Thank You, Ingrid!

My dogs have their party hats on, and are keeping them on, since I bought Ingrid Newkirk's new book, Let' Have a Dog Party. Cooking is my hobby, so I went straight to the chapter with doggy recipes. My vegan dogs, Lucky and Gracie, gave '5 Woofs' for Carly's Favorite Brownies. Bobbie Mullins's Easy Lentil Stew is on the menu tonight, and my dogs are ready and waiting. I thought I was a super companion to my dogs before, but now that I have this book to give me tons of ideas for fun things to do with them, and cook for them, I am going to be their superstar!

I agree with Eva. This book is full of fun, light-hearted tips on making your dog's day. Fancy monogrammed items don't mean much to a dog, but love, attention, toys, and yummy treats do. Dogs deserve to be treated as cherished members of the family, and that's the main message of the book.

In this delightful book, Ingrid Newkirk shows us how to say 'thank you' to our best friends for all the times they've patiently waited long hours for us to come home, loved us when no one else did, and made us smile when no one else could. Packed with creative and fun ideas that will get your pup's tail wagging and strengthen the special bond you share. A must read for any dog lover!

Two paws up! This book tells dog lovers what they've always to know...what would Fido want to do on his birthday? This delightful book is almost as much fun to read as the party itself is to organize. Most importantly, it reminds us that dogs are a part of the family and deserve the same love and attention that our human kids do.
