My daughter and I read every book from first till last until the pre teen section when she was 11 and then she finished most of them off herself . Multicultural, with different points of view and different takes on the art of telling a story or even the art of art in the picture books- with an open mind and some free time we discovered so many girl empowering gems. Now with the new library ordering systems you can order 25 picture books on your libraries web sight and take a burlap bag to the library and spend the evening on your front porch reading book after book- a delight.
