Falling Into You finally established Celine Dion as a superstar in America, so its sequel, Let's Talk About Love, was designed to consolidate her position as a newly minted star. The album was constructed as a blockbuster, featuring Dion's trademark melodramatic ballads, some carefully tailored dance-pop, a bevy of duets with the likes of Barbra Streisand and the Bee Gees, and production and songs from adult contemporary gurus David Foster, Jim Steinman, and Walter Afanasieff. Given that so many talented craftsmen worked on Let's Talk About Love, it makes sense that a number of the cuts succeed according to adult contemporary terms -- they are predictably sweeping showcases for Dion's soaring, technically skilled voice. As usual, the singles (including the Streisand duet "Tell Him" and the Titanic love theme "My Heart Will Go On") shine the most brilliantly, but even the filler is immaculately produced. If the end result doesn't quite gel as an album, that shouldn't be surprising -- this is music by committee, a product that was made to appeal to the widest possible audience. Such a calculated execution guarantees that anyone who liked one of the singles shouldn't be disappointed by Let's Talk About, but it doesn't necessarily mean they'll remember all of the record after it's finished playing.

I thought that this was one of her best cd's yet. She is the coolest, and she always will be. Her absence from the music industry is sad, yet I know that she needs it.

Ms. Dion's sweet, melodic ballads alone or with wonderful singers like Barbara Streisand or The BeeGees are deeply enjoyable. (I can't get 'Tell Him' out of my mind!) While her new 'classic', My Heart Will Go On, is hauntingly beautiful. And yet, she shows herself to be truly diversified singing the Reggae/Hip Hop tune, 'Treat Her Like a Lady'. My niece liked it so much, I gave her my CD. Missed it so much, had to purchase another!!! MISS YOU MY LADY.

Her voice actually penatrates the mind, body and soul, overwelming the moments with beauty and breathlessness when your relaxing with the person you love!

What a great album i love this album because Celine knows what she is doing on this album we have Ballads, pop and rock song as Treat Her Like A lady it sounds as R,NB but i think it is more rockpop version it´s funny and Celine does it well singing a song like this.My Heart Will Go On from TITANIC Celine´s signature song the best ballad ever and will go on and on and on and never sink my favorit songs on this album are the TITANIC HIT,Treat her like a lady,Why oh Why When I need you Tell Him with legendary diva Barbra Streisand and Amar Haciendo el amor.Celine rules the planet each and every time when she delivers an album like this.

I Have wrote a review about this album and there´s something i wan´t to mention here. Let´s Talk About Love is a perfect album and includes beautiful ballads and pop songs like the Titanic Smash number#1 hit My Heart will go on. But there is a song missing from this album called Is Nothing Sacred written&Produced by Jim Steinman(Meatloaf)I Found the song on a Celine side called Celine talks to you on a rare section of unrealesed songs. This song is incredible and i don´t understand why she didn´t use it on The Album it´s so awesome and her voice is so powerful if you fans of Celine loves her go and get it on this side. Instead of using Is Nothing sacred Celine uses Where Is The Love not as great song would i say.

I never heard "Immortal" until I was looking up Celine Dion videos on YouTube. I saw one where she sang Immortal with the BEE BEEs. Thought I would give it a listen. I was blown away - what an emotional song by some great singers. I bought the album immediately. Other great songs are on the album too.
