    Pretty good

This book was comforting and interesting. It told about a wide variety of experiences regarding women who had lost their mothers. Ms. Edelman covered women who had lost their mothers anywhere from 1 - 40 years ago. Her primary concern was with women who had lost their mothers in childhood or young adulthood. This book is a caring, logical antidote to those people who minimize the loss of a mother.
