Overview

Savanna Tate has loved the same guy since she was 14yrs old. Now she and Tyler are in their second year of college. While Savanna is concentrating on maintaining her high grade point average and academic scholarship, Tyler is busy partying with his frat brothers and screwing around on his girlfriend behind her back.

Savanna decides they need a break, just so she can focus and maybe change his mind about his priorities. One night at a party Savanna catches Ty in the act and after a heated argument, she leaves. In fear of losing her forever, Tyler steals a car and proceeds to follow her even after he had too much to drink. He loses control of the vehicle and from the injuries of the accident he goes into a coma.

Everyone blames Savanna for Ty's accident. She loses her friends. His family disowns her. She stops being around people and spends most of her time at the hospital waiting for Ty to wake up so that they can start over and have the future she always wanted.

Then his cousin Colt comes back to town to help with the Mitchell family's farm.

The chemistry between them is electric, but is Savanna willing to let go of Ty to explore her feelings for Colt?(

Just finished this book (the second of Jennifer Foor's I have read) and absolutely loved it! I enjoy her writing style, she spends time creating the characters and adding just enough sexy! Colt is my new favorite and I picture his drawl like Matthew Mc Conaughey, but thanks to Jennifer, I know what he looks like. This is another must read and I can't see where the Mitchell cousins go from here!

I usually don't write reviews but I felt it was necessary for this book. I never really understood what people meant when they would write a review and say, "the writing was just aweful," until I started reading this book. I would just like to say that I have never read a book that I just couldn't finsh. I have started reading books before and even if I didn't like it, usually I ended up reading all of it anyways... This book it the exception to that. Not even half way through the book (and trust me, it took an extreme amount of effort for me to even read that much of it) I just couldn't take the awkward dialogue. The conversations between the characters didn't flow and all of the typos just killed any interest I had in this book. Like I said, I normally don't write reviews but I can honestly say this is one of the worst books I have ever read. The plot seems good but I just couldn't get past the aweful writing.

You really feel for the main character in this book. The whole town is just a bunch of judgemental retards. You get caught up in the passion and the confliction, but in the end redemption wins out for everyone. Great story, looking forward to the next in the series.

Bought this because it won a "Golden Boner" award from a website.  Story was boring and predictable, grammar was atrocious, ("i drug her there", "we decided to lay on my bed",  and others),.  Can't tell if the dialogue was meant to be "southern redneck", or whether author was seriously writing that way.  Will not read the rest of the series because it irritated me so much!!!!! (Sorry, I'm an English major)

I loved every minute of reading this book. So surprised by the turn of events, but really enjoyed how they played out.

This book is full of romance, drama, lust and humor. I definitely recommend this book to any person who likes all that in a story. This book is intended for mature adult readers.

Letting Go is a good start for the Michell Famiky series. My heart poured out for this tragic year, and it was terrible to see an entire family and community rise against Savanna. I was raged to see her character overcome her obstacles to find a happily ever after. While in the beginning I was intrigued by the highs and lows; I must admit to finding them somewhat repetative. This was an emotional whirls wind. I think it will be a wonderful start to series.~BookWhisperer Reviewer JO~

Enjoyable story with a real life plot. Better proof reading needed. Please check grammer, spelling, subject-verb agreement, etc. LA-TXN

I liked the idea of this story...but what killed it for me was the blocks of paragraphs being repeated throughout the book. Same reason/excuse/explanation given repeatedly! It was annoying. And the dialogue was atrocious!

Ridiculous. Simple minded. Poorly written. Try as I miht to find redeeming qualities, I am at a loss. I will admit that I only finished 200 pages before I gave up, but unless the writer's command of basic grammar and usage took a sudden turn, I doubt I missed much. As for the story...simplistic, predictable, not captivating.

This author could have had so much more potential but unfortunately this book fell flatt! I loved the concept of the story...there was so much repetitive sh*t said over and over..the romance was bland...yes, it was somewhat detailed but the passion and emotional connection was lacking.. and it was hard to even make it through ..I give it a 1.5 only becouse I liked the concept of the story..I skimmed just to get through.

I enjoyed this intro in to the Mitchell family. I can tell this is a series I will get hooked on. I like when books play out like movies and characters develop over time with the books being about different family members. Van was not my favorite female lead ever, she cried what seemed like every other page, but hot damn Colton Mitchell made up for her flaws. He can make this hair band loving girl appreciate country music. I almost felt like slapping on a cowgirl hat and some boots just for him. Nobody can quite pull of "Darlin" other than a sexy cowboy with a southern draw. I would have dropped Ty for Colt's in a hot minute if I was in the same situation, especially if my reward was steamy sex in the rain. Yes please. I can already "see" the set up for a future book on Ty and how he grows as a person and I look forward to it.
