Lewis and Clark by author, Arlene Molzahn could be an example for writers of children's non-fiction as to how it should be done! This is a physically attractive book with a generous amount of colorful photos and maps. Details such as captions displayed on what appears to be pieces of torn parchment add to the authenticity of the time period. The text is well organized into six chapters chronicling the expedition from the planning stages to its completion. Additional features include a table of contents, index, glossary, bibliography, timeline and internet sites. These features are especially helpful for students doing research. This book would be an excellent addition to any collection. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
