Such a great book. Not many stories really address just how big

Such a great book. Not many stories really address just how big a potential threat Superman represents. He could take over the whole world if he wanted to without even really trying and only Lex Luthor seems to be bothered by that. Obviously, Lex's motives are far from pure most times, but books like this one raise important points. I love stories like this one that approach a common subject from an uncommon angle.

    The best Lex Luthor!

This is one of the best portrayals of Lex Luthor that I've ever seen. Azzarello does an incredible job of showing you things from Lex's viewpoint. The way he refers to Superman as an "it" as opposed to he shows how he thinks of the Superman. Lex, while completely evil, believes everything he is doing is for the good of Metropolis and the Earth. Bermejo's art does a great job of showing how alien Superman looks to Lex. My only slight problem with the book is that it is an out of continuity book that could've been told in continuity. Overall, a great story involving one of the best characters in comics.
