A USA Today Bestselling Novel

The pain was unbearable, but I had to keep moving. I had to keep running because, if I didn’t, he’d find me. I looked behind me as I ran through the streets; scared, alone, and in the dark as the mist of rain hit my face. There was no time to think, and there was no time to stop. My shoes were soaked as they sloshed through the puddles of the dimly lit streets.

My name is Rory Sinclair, and the night I was violently attacked was the night that changed my life forever. One man, a man named Ian Braxton, made it his mission to heal me, to save me, and to show me a world that previously had been only a dream to me.

Ian Braxton is far from perfect. He’s a self-absorbed, demeaning, arrogant, and womanizing millionaire. He makes it so easy to hate him, but so very hard to resist him. We’re from opposite sides of the spectrum. He comes from money and I come from poverty. When our worlds collide, his struggles become mine, and mine become his, leaving us with one question:

How much would you give up to be with someone who was meant to be yours?

If you like your heroes to be ass*oles then this book is for you. No thanks.

This book appears to be an attempt to copy Fifty Shades of Grey. The writing was better than FSoG, but the 'hero' in this book is just not likable. I couldn't even finish it as he was constantly giving the 'heroine' orders. I'm pretty sure there would have been some steamy scenes later in the book, but I couldn't force myself to drag myself through the rest of this horrible start of a book.

I absolutely loved this book. The story line is amazing. At times I laugh and I cried a lot. Rory ans Stephen's story was so heart wrenching. Ian is a gorgeous arrogant millionaire who saves Rory in every way a person can be saved. Even though you can tell he fights it he has serious feelngs for Rory and she's head over heals madly in love with him. The chemistry between Ian and Rory is off the charts freakin HOT! I highly recommend tis book to everyone!

Her style of writing made it hard for me to get into the book at first. Couldn't quite figure it out what I did not like about it. Had to leave the book alone for a day before I finally was able to get into it. Ian is very condescending and I couldn't believe that Rory wanted to stick around and put up with it. I liked how she touched on mental illness. I think in the next book Andrew will be causing lots of problems for the couple but I am looking foward to see how the story ends.

Im so hurt by this world. Even u know this isnt me. I havent cried this hard since i can last remember. U awaken things in me even i didnt know i had. U make me feel loved in the way ive always wanted. Ur soo perfect. U make me not scared to be me. *tear falls down my cheek*. But right now inside me im battling with the fact that u might hate me. I dont want u to hate me. I love u soooo fu<_>cking much. But Madi can give u everything u need. She's pretty and Im so ugly. She she. *chokes up and burst into a meltdown* She is soo perfect. Looks at u. Takes of the necklace u gave me and slowly hands it out to u. G-give it to a girl u truely love. *my heart breaks* Looks at u. I mean someone u see a future with. That girl isnt me. Im soo stupid and i hurt u. Cries into my hands and starts walking away.-Clare

This was a great story, easy to read and easy to like the characters, for the most part. But don't we all love to hate the leading man??

I loved this book from beginning to end and loved that the author mixed characters from the ither series. Freaking amazing!

I loved it. It was very interesting. Rory was great, Ian was hot as hell when he wanted something. He did take care of her, but she maintained her independence, which I loved. She had her own friends and wanted nothing to do with Ian's money. Loved the storyline. The ending was fabulous!
