Meet the Author

No matter where Shaun “54” Smith’s life will take him, the town of Macon, Georgia will be forever known as his home. Born and raised in this small town, Smith had his family to support him in whatever dreams he wanted to pursue. He enjoys spending his free time taking photographs and managing his musical group, “Nothin Alike.” Presently a postal worker at the Macon PD&C Plant, Smith still finds time out of his busy schedule to follow his inspiration to write.

His hope is to touch someone else’s life in a positive manner. He believes that each individual has a story to tell and he hopes to inspire others by sharing his. Smith’s inspiration to write came strictly from his life experiences. He would express his thoughts through writing, which started the journey of writing this book. Other authors he has come across in his life have been a part of encouraging this dream. Smith would like to show recognition to the following authors: Marie Finney, the author of “Let My Past Be My Past,” Steve Harvey, and Tyler Perry.
Smith would like for anyone who reads his book to see that they are not alone in things they’re going through and to help them realize that we go through things for a reason. It is important in life to recognize and accept that reason and learn from your doings.
